Creepy First-Person Adventure Game Aboard Tesla’s Boat

Close to the Sun is a first-person horror adventure video game set in an art deco-period of alternate 1897, where Nikola Tesla won against Thomas Edison for technological domination over the world. Here, you play as a journalist named Rose Archer, who comes looking for her scientist sister Ada aboard the majestic sea cruiser named the Helios. Nikola Tesla invited all of the greatest minds in the world to it to continue and create new research away from the public’s interference, but when Rose arrives, things immediately look strangely peculiar for the legendary ship. Close to the Sun’s gameplay is all about exploration, investigation, puzzle-solving, and the occasional run-and-hide bout as the Helios is not completely safe. Constantly compared to the Bioshock series, this game’s environment is rich and lush, along with its mysterious narrative—but be prepared to focus a lot on the frustrating puzzles.

  • Creepy atmosphere
